Bartenders are a dying bread due to corporations and stupid liquor control devices.  The art of bartending is dying!  I have lost so many jobs with my experience due to the fact that a bar manager has the hots for a chic and wants to make her a bartender to get laid.  Ha!  Go see 'Waiting'  It is the truth!  A great bartender makes a memory in the patron that lasts the customer for life.  "I remember that Trouzer guy at La Vela, he was so freaking crazy!"  I had repeat customers form 8 states while working at La Vela who repeatedly came back to see me every holiday. Bartending is an art!  A good bartender makes the club!  A bartender knows the area and the night life.  A good bartender can make your night, give you lasting memories, and can even get your ugly ass laid!  So Fuck Sushi--get a good bartender!
